Practical cat plush guide

When your cat sees a plush for the first time

A “cat seeing plushy first time” video can be charming, but a real cat may be curious, indifferent or cautious. Your cat does not need to recognize a likeness for the keepsake to matter to you. Put the animal’s comfort ahead of getting a reaction for a camera.

Let your cat choose the distance

Place the keepsake where you can supervise and give your cat room to walk away. Do not push it toward their face, block an exit or use it to provoke a response. If your cat avoids the object, put it away and leave the encounter there.

A keepsake is not automatically a cat toy

Custom appearance does not establish suitability for chewing, scratching or unsupervised play. Do not present the plush as a tested pet toy. Keep it out of reach if your cat bites fabric or pulls at parts, and ask about materials before any intended use.

Filming is optional

If you record an introduction, keep the session brief and voluntary. A quiet sniff or no interest at all is a normal possible outcome. We do not provide reaction videos from customers or promise that a cat will cuddle a replica.

Keep the order video separate

The video on your order shows the finished plush for your approval. It is different from an optional reference video of your pet and from any first-meeting video you choose to make later. Review the craft details before agreeing to shipment.
